Well I finally have got my virtual tour posted minus a couple rooms.

I am busy lately trying to decorate the kids rooms & trying to run a tourney, as well as keep up on the regular housework. I need to get back to work on my genealogy website soon too.*cry* Oh I forgot to mention we have a possible termite problem. Of course we got abt. 4 estimates(the only thing we could afford were the free estimates.) Hopefully things will start looking up. til later, be safe & happy.

Happy Labor Day?

The Kitchen floor is down. We will be sanding & finishing it soon . The patio doors have been installed in the dining room , my baby brother came & helped us with that. thank you bubby ;) I was so happy to have him come for a visit. It was great to spend time with him again. I have also been cleaning & painting & will be decorating the childrens rooms soon. more pictures to come soon.

been busy to say the least. the floor is coming along. DH is still working at it as I type this, I have been painting & organizing things, that is a big chore for a packrat like me. Looks like we may get moved in this year after all ;)

DD, 7, spent all day getting ready for our local sweetie/queen pagent. She did very well but I think she was very nervous. In the end, one of her good friends won the crown. I was especially proud of my little girl when I saw the biggest smile brighten her face as she jumped up to clap so hard for her friend.

Family day! We took the kids to the Children's Museum. It was lots of fun. I reccomend it, there are so many hands on things for kids to enjoy. We all really enjoyed the Dinosphere, & the Planetarium, although DH napped during the Planetarium, & we all rode on the carousel as well. We walked through the whole museum, but I am sure we didn't see it all. It was a very long day & we were all ready for a goodnight's sleep by the time we got home.

Been awhile since I wrote. Last weekend was spent at a family reunion & meetings with family members, looking for pictures and gathering stories for my genealogy project. Today was a crappy day, the horses & cattle broke down a gate & were roaming free at the neighbors. So I had to round up the ones that I could, & try to patch fence. Then DH got home & we finished the job. He finished repairing other sections of fence then.

worked at the house all day, mostly cleaning up, tossing out old floor boards, that we had removed from the kitchen & moving tools & equipment to make it easier to get to things, also finally got the concrete forms removed, thank goodness for SIL, she helped all day

the weatherman was right, it rained all day, so we went to the library instead of mowing, aslo worked on the genealogy site again

today I got to rake hay. I don't like to drive the tractor on the side of a hill, it scares me. DH baled the hay tonight, weatherman is calling for a storms tonight & tomorrow. also got to mow yard at our place of residence today, I think I'll finish mowing tomorrow , if it doesn't rain.

it's been awhile since I have had time to get to this, over the weekend we finished digging the crawlspace & started planning the new staircase to the basement,(the old one was in the kitchen, it was very awkward & hard to maneuver), then I mowed the yard at the house.

today I worked on planning a genealogy website, & helped a little with putting up trim boards at the IL's again.

helped IL's in their kitchen, helped with staining wood trim boards, then hanging on 3 walls, took almost all day,(still not done) came home and scrubbed wood stain from my speckled legs. I think I got to sit down for an hour to relax ? :)

worked on the site & played sd most of the day then went to the house to dig the crawlspace awhile, worked on the site some more.
